David and Lindsey's Wedding Day

It was such a blessing to be a part of David and Lindsey's day.  It was such an honor to be asked to give the bride away!!  Robin did such an awesome job in photographing the wedding and I was able to just enjoy the festivities.  The wedding was so beautiful.  It was very evident that a great deal of time and effort was taken to make it so special.  Every little detail was in place.  More than this though was the incredible love that you have for each other and for your families.  This was exemplified when you had what would normally be the unity candle portion of the wedding.  Instead of lighting your separate candles and then lighting the main candle to signify your marriage you had glass containers filled with different colored sand in them.  Each person in the family, not just the couple, but the children too, took turns pouring their sand in the main glass container.  First the children, and then David and Lindsey.  It was beautiful and symbolized your commitment not only to yourselves, but to your children.  You are now all one family, all together.  This is God's plan and you are now living it.  May the love and grace of God always be with you.  May you continue to live God's plan with joy and love.  God bless you all!!!
